Blue water spearfishing adventure!!!
Have you ever dreamed of spearing large wahoo, dorado, amberjack, tuna or even Marlin?
Get your thin wetsuits, and big guns out and prepare for an adventure led by Dan Silveira (3 time Pacific Coast Champion spearfrisherman).
Type of fish / location / Dates:
• You pick the fish you want to spear and I will send you the time of year to choose from and the location we will be going to. It is that simple!
What is included?
Once you arrive at the destination everything will be included except alcohol.
• Diving from 8am till 3pm
• 3 meals a day
• Your fish will be filleted for you, packed and frozen as well.
• You will have the option of having Dan Silveira take professional photos of you underwater or above water with your fish.
• Dan Silveira will meet with each individual diver before the trip to conduct a power point presentation on the fish you will be targeting and the art of freediving. Then there is an option to dive with Dan in Monterey, Ca to do target practice and work on the freediving techniques.
What will you need to do before the trip?
Pay the remainder of your deposit.
You will need to book a flight to your destination after we confirm everything.
What to Bring?
• 3mm or 5mm wetsuit for moderate to warm water and a 1-1.5 mm wetsuit for 80˚+ waters.
• Your speargun should have a max range of 20-24 feet so you can shoot large game at 16-18 feet. 55-67 inch gun.
• You will need a float line (50-75 feet). A reel is not advisable for these big fish.
• Mask, snorkel, fins, booties, gloves, knife, spare shaft. Weight belt with 2-16 pounds depending on the thickness of your suit. Large float(s) and cooler to bring fish back.
